What is Ecomax?

Flexel Ecomax is a backing board used prior to the installation of other Flexel products, especially the underfloor heating cable offering from the Flexel range. The backing board finds its main use in floors which are to have a ceramic type of finish, for example tile, or marble. Ecomax boards are available in two different thickness options; our office will be pleased to help with the choices. The available options are six millimeter and ten millimeter thick boards.

Flexel Ecofloor is an underfloor heating system which is ideal for installation either on top of existing wood floors, sub-floors or concrete floors. It is suitable for any room but is especially useful in situations where the final floor covering will be of ceramic type including, but not limited to: natural stone, slate, quarry stone, porcelain, marble, limestone, or terracotta.
